Description: This is the earliest blooming Serviceberry (aka Juneberry), and the white flowers tend to stay on longer than other Amelanchiers, particularly when weather is cooler in early April. Fruit is edible by humans and wildlife in June. Excellent fall color of red, yellow, and orange. Best placed in a shrub border or as a specimen. Bark is gray and lightly striped with white.
