Artist Statement: A local artist whose photography conveys an appreciation for the diversity of nature. Each image in this series captures a different essential element of the region’s rural, scenic, and ecological heritage:
The Ascent: The rustic stone staircase is an example of conserved public spaces uniting human stewardship with peaceful connections to nature.
Ultimately, these photos tell a story of regional preservation—bridging the artistic beauty of nature with the critical need to save the actual landscapes that inspired them.
