Artist Statement: I’m vintage and so is my art.
My passion is breathing new life in objects and repurpose something from our past. The goal is an art that triggers celebration, nostalgia and a sense of calm. For this piece, I have given new life and intention to a violin that had long been set aside and forgotten. It’s a family treasure that gives sentimental feelings as it is now reborn. Nature also plays a large role in my art. Whether it’s painting, decoupage or photography, life is incorporated throughout. The world around us must be observed, honored and cherished.
