Artist Statement: I love the way a walk in the woods can change what I notice and how I feel. These graphite drawings bring together the familiar textures of trees, roots, rocks, and water with the imagined lives tucked inside them.
Over the River and Through the Woods invites you to follow the water deeper into the forest. The Secret Lives of Forests asks you to look a little closer—you may find someone looking back.
The local landscape gives us places to wander, wonder, and feel connected. These drawings are my way of making room for that encounter, and inviting you to discover something of your own along the way.
