Artist Statement: I am a fine art photographer drawn to the quiet beauty found in the world around me. I often find myself stopping to notice things that might otherwise be overlooked: a nest tucked away after its season has passed, trees transformed by winter, the last flowers of summer, or the simple beauty of something found along the way.
Photography gives me a reason to slow down and really look. I am especially drawn to the natural world and to the small details, changes, and traces of life it leaves behind. Whether I am photographing something growing, fading, resting, or simply waiting to be noticed, I want to share the sense of discovery I feel when I encounter it.
For me, appreciating the landscape is also a way of caring for it. The more closely we look, the more there is to see, and perhaps the more we recognize what is worth protecting. My hope is that my photographs encourage others to pause, look a little longer, and notice the beauty that is already there.
