Artist Statement: I have been painting and creating art in McHenry County for most of my life. Our local wild spaces have always played a significant role in my creative endeavors and are a constant source of inspiration. When I can, I use reclaimed wood as my canvas which fosters a deeper connection to the subject matter. From stunning landscapes to dilapidated barns, there is always a moment to capture and a story to tell right in our own backyards.
