Artist Statement: Prairies are full of beautiful grasses and tiny flowers that we often overlook. I try to capture the feeling of a prairie in a whimsical way. Born in Chicago, I attended the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and moved to Woodstock in 1968. I work mainly in soft pastel.
