Artist Statement: I am primarily a colored pencil artist, thought I also love working with pan pastels, ink, water soluble graphite, watercolor pencils and paint, and pastel pencils. Mostly I enjoy bringing nature to life through renderings of birds and insects, or flowers and leaves, either realistically or fancifully through intricate designs. The beauty of nature found in McHenry County provides an endless canvas for inspiration.
